I connected it to my MacBook Pro and formatted it from windows which it arrives with to make it compatible for a Mac. There is defiantly an issue with Macs , I found I could not drag and drop files or I could only transfer about 5 songs at a time and then it would make my Mac freeze.

It is value for in comparison to other Product at site.l likes it’s mechanical durability in comparison to seagut . Also in one day usage it looks better than seagut.
ONLY one thing is it’s boxes shown in BOLD font as item is 25M3 and at hard drive written as 25M3S in small font, it’s create half an hour confusion what do to it in delivering wrong item.but item is same.

It is an awesome Hard Drive with premium finish. it could have easily can get 5 stars but…
1. i not used it for too long to test durability so i will give one more star after used it for 2 years.
2. the software is too stupid , not working properly and destroys the purpose of external hard drive for backup solutions. am using easeus software as alternative.
Go for it, its worth to buy at this price range!

I ordered the product, as someone recommended it to me. It was to be 1 TB like it said on the description, instead found out when connected to not 1, but 2 laptop’s, that it’s real storage capacity is only 31.9 GB. Very disappointed as really needed it…

My friend lost all his data when he accidentally dropped his old Harddrive on floor tho wasn’t fell from too high. So he was looking for a drive which won’t damage by falling from small heights. This is the Hard Drive which exactly we were looking for. While compying from internal HDD write speed is around 120Mbps and read speed is also close to 150Mbps. I’m very Impressed with the Hard Disk.

Bought this to supplement my first Transcend external hard drive which is a 500GB device connecting via two USB plugs.
This one is a 1TB device connecting via a single USB port, so easier to connect and double the capacity.
Otherwise apart from the colour , plugs and capacity they look identical and the transfer speeds seem comparable.
I have dropped my first unit without any issues, but wouldn’t recommend throwing them around.

Leider ist nirgends gestanden, dass der USB-Anschluß auf Festplattenseite ein sehr selten vorkommender micro-USB-3.0 anschluß ist.
Den hab ich sonst auf keinem anderen Kabel (der unterscheidet sich nämlich von anderen micro-USB-Anschlüssen)
Sehr störend, dass nicht USB oder USB C genommen worden ist – dann hätte man Kompatibilität mit anderen Kabeln.

Absolutely no proper information on service center availability. My device stopped working in few months of purchase. And warranty period ends in next few weeks.. in all these 3 years I can’t find single credible source contact for service / replacement as per warranty.

NTFSと書かれていたらwindows向けのファイルシステムになっているなんて、調べるまで知りませんでした・・・
ディスクユーティリティで「Transcend」を「消去」する際にフォーマットを「Mac OS拡張（ジャーナリング）」にして消去したら、使えるようになりました！！！

A very dependable external hard drive, even though the actual available space is about 945 GB.
I’ve been using Transcend EHDDs mostly, and this with a 3.0 USB I have found as good as the others I have invested in previous..
With the rubberised casing it is easier to handle the ocassional fall.
Overall satisfied with it and would reccomend it

I heard experiences of data loss from my friends, so I wanted a solid Hard disk which can guarantee the safety of my data. After searching so long in multiple sites i found this Transcend Military Grade shockproof hard disk and trust me it’s value for money. I have been using for a month and it’s performing well. I am giving 4 stars because it’s been only a month I started using, will give rating once use for an year.

My first external hdd so can’t say much about it. Performance seems better than 2.0 storage devices. Nice looking hdd sandwiched in rubber case for protection, still be cautious while using and handling. Hope it will last 5+ years.
