The write/copy speed of this pendrive is just 4-6 MBps. I tried to copy i single video (1.5 GB) from my SSD laptop to this pendrive, and i got a very slow speed. But looking at its price, you can’t expect more. Buy only if you rarelt use pendrives or there is some emergency for eg installing windows, etc

Bad Quality.. I kept this Card for spare use, not frequent read/write. I kept important data but not filled it. Recently have copied few more files, videos, lost them all of a sudden. I couldn’t recover them, quite disaapointing experience with Strontium.

Worth for cheap price….this pendrive is good for emergency use like for making a bootable usb pendrive to format your laptop or desktop….this is not good for daily or rough use because it is made of cheap plastic material and speed is not that level to copy paste a game or big file instantly, regularly and carry them…so if you need a pendrive for heavy use you should go for the higher priced HP ones….i m happy with this worth for money product because i already have a hard drive to copy,paste, carry big files and needed a pendrive for formatting my windows and for some emergency use only.

I bought five of these and unfortunately opened the product and checked by the time the return window was closed. I was copying data to one of the pen drives which showed error in copying and I cannot use it any further as it won’t copy any data to it. I opened another pen drive out of the five and faced similar issue. Now I’ve these useless pen drives which either won’t copy the data showing error message or won’t detect at all. Please don’t purchase this item. It’s cheap and of no use.

I m really really surprised. This USB pendrive worked well only for 3 months. After that it started asking for reformatting. I tried so many times on different machines. But still there’s a same problem. Looks like there’s a manufacturing defect as this has happened for the first time with any USB pendrive. Especially when I used it the least , never for any heavy usage to its full capacity. I will be contacting the manufacturer now. Let’s see if they will do anything. That’s what I have been advised by Amazon’s chat help.

This is not a complaint. These USBs were factory formatted using FAT32 system. This will allow only storage of single files that are below 4 GB. If you try to store any single file that is larger than 4 GB, a message will appear that says “File is too big” even if the file is only GB which should fit in a 16 GB USB drive. Just format the pendrive with xFAT system and it will be fine.

Good pen drive. But it’s very difficult to insert or remove the pen drive from the USB jack! I don’t understand why the companies of all brand manufacture pen drives totally made of plastic! Had they at least made the USB pin of metal, there would not be a problem in inserting and removing the pen drive from the jack. I don’t think it will cost them the earth.

I’ve received the product just moments ago. I just bought it for plug and play OS for my PC. As compared to my other pendrive (Sandisk) This pendrive (Strontium) seems to load the OS pretty quickly. So it’s a thumbs up from me.
