Overall good product but main thing is you can’t use with your phone back cover due to if your phone back cover little bit thick so you can unable to use OR you can use only removed your cover, so it is not user friendly, i am using ” Kapaver” back cover so unable to use directly with back cover if i need to use 1st removed cover so please beware if you think use with your phone back cover also you can note main point ” ONLY REPLACEMENT OPTION AVAILABLE NOT RETURN & REFUND OPTION” so over all i am not satisfied with amazon refund policy & particular product, My 600/- Rupees sink in water.

The media could not be loaded.
The type c drive size is larger than the slot of gioneeA1 and redmi5, so unable to connect with them, not checked for other mobile phones ,, if we are anable to connect it with cellphone then why should we bye it….

Ok, I’ll start with the positives. It’s a very handy, small USB stick that you can take anywhere with you. With a 256gb storage you’ll probably never run short of space, and having a retractable USB type C and standard USB connectors it’s very convenient.
However, this is where the positives (for me) stop. I’m a wedding photographer and halfway through the day I transfer all images taken to that point over to my MacBook Pro (USB-C only). From the Compact Flash cards (160mb/s rated read speeds) I use a USB C 3.1 adapter and I transfer about 70gb of photos in about 10-15 minutes using his method. This is actual times experienced.
I then transfer the copy fro my MacBook to this 256gb SanDisk 3.1 drive (rated 150mb/s read speeds) For those who don’t know, 3.0 is the same as 3.1 (gen 1) in terms of speed. They simply renamed 3.0 to 3.1 for USB-C devices.
This last process should take 10-15 minutes also, but in reality takes over TWO HOURS to complete. Why? Why does this take so long compared with the 15 minutes it takes for me to transfer from the SanDisk CF Cards using the very same ports and technology?
For me, this device is absolutely not fit for purpose. If I wanted these speeds I’d opt for a USB 2.0 USB drive.
SanDisk, any comments?

I Ordered the product for my Mac because of the USB C option, but turns out it is too big and cannot be used in the c port of my mac. Very displeased with the product as the hse I bought it for is not satisfied. Shame Sandisk. Really waste of money for Mac users.
CustomerComment –
This pendrive is my 5th SanDisk pendrive and I also bought 7 SanDisk micro sd cards. It is just the brand’s quality and service experience that tempt to buy storage devices from SanDisk. Lets come to the performance, however to get fast speed you must have fast USB ports like USB 3.1 you can get enough speed through 2.0 ports as well. After trusting SanDisk for so many years, I will definately recommend this pendrive.

Ottimo, perché vari foglietti illustrativi o altre cose sarebbero superflue.
FUNZIONALITA’ E DETTAGLI:
È ESSENZIALE SE AVETE UN MacBook Pro.
Grazie e buoni acquisti!

Warning to all buyers:
The product has slow writing speeds. On big files starts at about 35 MBps, soon drops to 12 MBps and if used for long, drops even to 15 kbps!!!!
The product gets very hot, very fast. Unlikely to last long.
Pros: Small size, has dual connectors (Type C and TypeA)
Was going to buy the 256 GB variant, but just cancelled it!

By “typically” I mean not massively fast, but at the expected speed most of these 150MB/s flash drives are rated for.
– Test setup (March 2018):
Straight into a Thunderbolt 3, 2016 15″ fully spec’d Apple MacBook Pro. Using this SanDisk 64GB drive in new/unused/pre-formatted (FAT32) condition, straight out the packaging.
Tested using Blackmagic Disk Speed Test, at Blackmagic’s 1GB and 5GB sizes. Using the drive’s USB-C plug or it’s USB-A plug (with an Aukey USB-C-to-USB-A adapter) directly into the MBP:
50-60 (write) / 160-170 (read).
– Result:
So read’s on an empty drive are as expected, write’s are a bit slow; but TBH they’re well within what most of these flash drives’ performances tend to be that advertise themselves at the “150MB/s” rated standard.
– Summary:
If you want to spend 2-4 times more on a flash drive that advertises newer “300MB/s” speeds, then of course you may get around a doubling of the read and writes shown here. But of course you’re paying usually significantly more for the privilege, and those flash drives are typically much bulkier as well, this one is only 4x2x1cm in size. Also, there are currently NO others (or at least none from main brands) on the market that do both USB-A and USB-C on one stick.
This does the expected speeds, connected using the expected types.
As of March 2018… If you need both A+C connection types, this is the one you’re gonna need to buy. If you want faster speeds, at a higher price (19 quid for 64GB model), whilst sacrificing having both A+C USB connections, then look elsewhere.
———–
EDIT (one week later):
Two quick points…
1) Faster drive.
Those looking for SanDisk’s ~300MB/s speed drive, which is more expensive (~double the price/GB), bulkier, only has a USB-A port and no USB-C port. Then the “SanDisk Extreme PRO” the current one they do in 128GB & 256GB sizes:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01MU8TZRV
2) Format.
I should have said originally, Mac users will likely want to reformat the drive in Disk Utility app.
The drive natively comes in FAT32, which only allows max file sizes of ~4GB. So I used “Mac OS Extended (Journaled)” and “GUID Partition Map” type. Likely only work on Macs though, but that’s my work environment. Speeds quoted in main review above remain the same, BTW.
ExFAT could also be used (not sure whether that’s as “Master Boot Record” or “GUID Partition Map” type? – I think the latter is best for newer OS’s like Sierra onwards or Win 7 onwards?), but that’s got limitations (e.g. max 11 character drive partition names), see here:
https://support.apple.com/kb/PH22240?locale=en_GB
Hope this helps any Mac (and Win) users who are unsure.

Like many people, I’ve used dozens of Sandisk products over the years both at home and at work, and by and large I’ve no cause for complaint. So when the time came for me to buy a new flash drive, I had no hesitation in choosing another Sandisk product.
Sadly I was deeply disappointed.
This device gets very hot in use, is very slow when copying anything, it corrupts data and sometimes loses data. Reformatting it has no effect on either it’s speed or reliability.
Because I use it at work and it carries sensitive information, when it started going wrong, I had no choice other than to physically destroy the device rather than return it for a refund.
It has been a complete waste of time and money.
FWIW I used it on both a MacBook Pro running Mojave and PCs running Windows 10.

Very good product…!
Gave me 75MBps while copying a 3GB file from Laptop to Pendrive on USB 3.0 port…!
My laptop also has USB Type-C port…i did the same test as above…speed was same on the Type-C port…75MBps…but the speed was more consistent than USB 3.0 port…from start to end speed never dropped below 75MBps…!
While on USB 3.0 port, speed dropped from 75 to 40-45MBps for 7-8 seconds, then again it goes up to 75MBps, this happened 5-6 times while copying a 3GB file…!
My phone also supports Type-C port…i didn’t check the speed of file transfer…but it worked perfectly…no problems…!
So overall great product…!

Value for money,
It is easy to use but sometimes the c port won’t come out completely and you need to push it hard into your PC which could might break it.
It not durable at all.
It can only support daily use with good care.
It is also hydrophobic in nature.
Due to water it’s usb-A port got stuck and it couldn’t be used again.

First thing first, this pendrive heats a lot and very fast and when it does the transfer rate is fallen down by significant margin so a star is cut for this factor.
Now the good parts, easy to use and fits in phone and laptop easy and works without any 3rd party software in phone( oneplus 6t in my case). Speed of data transfer is fast in fact this is the only pendrive that actually gave me 155MBps rate at its peak……before succumbing to inevitable ( overheat). That is good speed in my eyes. Lastly built, well its decent has some wobbles here and there nothing much, long term use still needs testing will edit the review if issues arrive buy yeah so far so good. Photo added of its fall start and prior to it.
Test rig asus rog strix laptop and OnePlus 6t phone. Took less than a minute to heat in room with mid 33ish degree temp.
