Hey, its a thumb drive (well duh)… Its kinda slippery; some texture/knurling would help when inserting & removing. Runs quite warm while in use.

I am not much of a technical person. Not sure how the speed is calculated. But it took around 45 minutes to copy 30 GB data from a Samsung memory card to this HP flash drive. I think if the content was uploaded from the laptop to the pendrive it would have been much faster. I took this to copy all my saved important pictures and videos. Happy with the product. The delivery was quick and the product is genuine HP. The overall space i saw was 57.6 GB. Not sure what happens with the additional 7 GB which is not shown.
Latest Update: when i try opening the contents of the pen drive it lags atleast 30 – 40 seconds to open the contents of the pendrive. I have only copied pictures and videos. Whenever i try opening the pictures of videos it takes much time. I feel its not really upto the standards of HP.. Little disappointed

I purchased this item in order to keep a backup of the files stored in my computer. Since I have many files in my computer, it takes a while for copying them — around 5 to 10 minutes. Scanning the drive for viruses also takes 5 to 10 minutes. This is not a problem for me. One just has to be a bit patient.
The product has a retractable device. As of now, it is working fine. Don’t know how long it will last. But it seems quite sturdy,

Nice pen drive. Good metallic body. Usb 3.1 . Read speed upto 120mbps write speed 20mbps. Not bad for the price. Smaller pen drives gets hot soon and performace reduces. Thats why opted for big metallic pen drive. Nice product

The read speed is good. I got it max 125 MB/s, but the writing speed isn’t that great. Sometime it’s good (70-80 MB/s), while sometime it’s too bad (max 24 MB/s). But mostly it’s bad.
But I think at this price and with good build quality, you should purchase this pendrive (only if you’re ok with the writing speed).

For some unknown reason wrire speed is blow average.
Ordinary sandisk USB3.0 can reach write Speed upto 35MBps
Read speed upto 90MBps
For OS booting it’s a monster. 200MBps just super fast.windows 10 installation takes only less than 10mins.
For thus price segment this pendrive is monster.
To get this read speed . Computer need atleast 3.0 port and SSD drive .pendrive need formated as NTFS file system.

I got replacement product. But this is also not a genuine one. Even I format to NTFS file system and changed to better performance. Its speed is very low than usb 2.0. Don’t buy this product.

The maximum READ speed is 132MB/s however the write speed is worst it’s fluctuating Max is 20mb/s it’s not 3.1 the write speed of 3.1 is 55MB/s (generally), don’t buy it guys…
